The Common Morpho (Morpho peleides) is a tropical butterfly and staple of butterfly releases at conservatories and gardens. When closed or viewed from below, its wings are mostly brown, but when they open, it's a flash of electric blue! This one had just emerged and been released, and it is still "inflating" its wings with fluid--you can see some droopiness.
